This idea started with one very fluffy puppy and one very frustrated 10-year-old.

Mabel, a fifth grader who begged for a golden retriever puppy for YEARS, loved taking her new puppy for walks — but there was always one problem: with all that thick, long fur, it was hard to find the collar’s D-Ring and clip on the leash. The fluffy puppy - named Lady - who was also teething at the time, would bite at Mabel’s hands, spin around constantly, and try to play. Frustrated and in pain, Mabel asked her mom to purchase her a collar “where this part sticks out so I can see it!”

Unable to find such an item on the current market, Mabel and her family embarked on a plan to design such a product. Now patent-pending, the EZ-Grab Collar is available for purchase to help other dog owners who might also struggle with fluffy dogs.

What began as a simple idea turned into a real product created to help dog owners everywhere enjoy easier, stress-free walks.

Mabel hopes her invention shows that kids can be problem-solvers, creators, and entrepreneurs too. Every collar sold supports a young inventor with a big dream — and a big love for dogs.
